Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Her family is the fourth Roberts family that resided in Atlanta. This began with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. In the early years of his life, her dad became fascinated by the theatre. When he was studying at Emory University, he performed in several productions in Atlanta. After joining the airforce, in 1953 he appeared in an airforce production in Biloxi along with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple was married in the year. Walter was enrolled in Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple were discharged from the air force and Walter began studying at Tulane University. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family relocated into Decatur Georgia. Walter as well as Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning show on local television for kids called Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964, a project that they funded themselves. They also created the six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later that same year. They welcomed in 1965 two children to the family: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
