Molly Tarlov, an American actor who has been playing in Awkward since 2011 and is also known by the name of Sadie Saxton. Tarlov was born and lived in Manhattan, New York, as the younger of two daughters. In the year she turned 10, Tarlov began her acting career with the production Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The group of 7th graders who attended the show were very impressed. When she grew older, she was a summer student at Interlochen Center for the Arts and in Paris learning with NYU's Tisch. Bennington College granted her a bachelor's degree in theatre. The Atlantic Theater Company, which she attended and also taught her to combine writing and acting in The LAByrinth Theater's Master Class. Molly changed her dark winter coat for a pair of sunglasses in black and made her way out to Los Angeles. A short, three-word segment of iCarly soon caught the eye from her parents. Since then, she's made several TV appearances. She also created the character Caitlin in Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly says she's great at basketball, however she isn't. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
